Process Mapping

Documenting your processes, mapping them out and reviewing them takes time. When you are busy carrying out the processes, it isn’t always feasible to spend time reviewing what you do and making improvements to streamline.

However, it is an important step to keeping everything in sync. If processes are inefficient, employees will feel overworked and devalued. The company will be spending more money than needed to run day-to-day tasks. Performance will be down.


Your investment to Process Mapping is not only money. In order to document the processes correctly, I will need access to experts that do the process on the daily basis or detailed Standard Operating Procedures. Work will be charged either hourly (£100 per hour) or daily (six hours £500).


One process will be worked on at any one time. This gives me time to understand your company and the process, map it out, look for and advise on improvements. 

Why Map Processes?

Without having the processes mapped out, you cannot see inter-dependencies. You cannot suggest improvements or streamline. It can cause loss in knowledge when employees move on so training staff in process mapping instils good habits.

Done-for-You, Training or Both?

It will depend on your objective to what is more appropriate. In most cases, it is best to have both so, once a complete process mapping service has been completed, it can be maintained in-house. In other companies, it is preferred that it’s kept outside the company so an impartial view and best practices are considered. 


With a clear goal in mind, I come in and map out your processes and customer journey. It may be you just don’t have the processes documented, productivity is not at an acceptable level or employee satisfaction is low.

Whatever the reason, at the end your processes will be mapped, your customer journey planned out and and evaluation of the current processes (including systems and people) is provided.


Charged at £500 per day (six hours) or £100 per hour.


Training staff is always a good idea. It can improve employee engagement as they are part of any assessment and feel their voices are being heard.

All training is designed to the needs of your business and employees. I take the time to understand your company, strategy and employees, then create your bespoke training. Training is normally one or two days but can be up to five days.


Charged at £400 per attendee (one day) or £600 per attendee (two day). Minimum numbers apply. Venues can be sourced if there is no onsite facilities available (costs vary).

If you have someone who aspires to become a business analyst or process expert and they have the time available, this is a great opportunity to have them mentored in process mapping at the same time. This increases the investment to £125 (per hour) or £675 (day rate). However, it is more efficient than paying for separate mentoring sessions and gives them hands-on experience.
